Blooms and Bites…

Blooms and Bites is set to be one of Aberdeenshire’s most heart-warming family days out — and it’s all in support of the incredible work of Rainbow Rogues.

Taking place at Schivas Steading, Ellon, on 11th April 2026 (10am–4pm), this vibrant community celebration is designed to bring families together for a day packed with fun, connection and feel-good moments. Every ticket sold helps Rainbow Rogues continue supporting children up to school-age with additional support needs, and their families across the region.

We’re proud to make inclusivity the heart of our event. From 10am–11am, we’ll host a dedicated ASN hour with reduced capacity, lower noise levels and a calm, welcoming atmosphere — creating a relaxed and judgement-free space where families can enjoy everything comfortably.

After 11am, the celebration opens fully with something for everyone:

- Face painting, bouncy castles and creative craft stations

- Live music throughout the day

- A special appearance from Bluey with photo opportunities

- A curated local makers’ market showcasing brilliant small businesses

- Delicious food vans to keep everyone fuelled

Whether you’re bringing tiny tots, older children or grandparents, Blooms and Bites is about laughter, community spirit and making memories together — all while supporting a charity that reduces isolation, builds confidence and creates truly inclusive spaces for families in Aberdeenshire.
